Vickie Lea decided I had too many boxwood, and when this one died, she suggested a caladium… I said fine, but only white. I love it!
I bought this white pot as a last minute replacement a couple years ago for a broken terra-cotta pot. I thought I would paint it, but I never have. I don’t really like it, but I don’t have the interest or energy to plan/design a paint project…. So white it is for another summer!
We transplanted this lily of the valley from my mother-in-law’s house almost 20 years ago… It’s planted by the air conditioners, which seems weird, but we didn’t have a backyard design at that time, and we had to get it before her house sold. It does quite well every year!
Vickie Lea stores my boxwoods all winter for me. I really look forward to the boxwood delivery in the spring!
After a walk with Tucker this morning… He works nicely with the white and green theme…
I usually put a pot on that stone piece below with ivy… I still have a few things to do, but I am loving the lush green everywhere right now. The birds are really happy and chirping away!
I still need to take photos of the furniture and pillows! I avoided them for this photo shoot because we have been sitting outside so much, and I didn’t have time to tidy up… Next time!
